No need to rush to the door to answer the doorbell with the Smartwares VD36W Video intercom set. Carry the indoor unit around in your whole house or even in the garden. The indoor unit has an integrated 2,4” color display with which you can always see who is in front of your door. You can even use the integrated microphone to speak with the person ringing the doorbell.

Always feel safeThe installation of the outdoor unit is easy and there is no need to struggle with wires. The outdoor unit is equipped with a doorbell and camera. The video intercom makes sure you know who is in front of your door even before you open the door. In this way you keep intruders outside. The camera uses infrared LED’s in order to maintain its visibility even when it is dark. If you are not at home and somebody rings the doorbell the system will automatically make a snapshot. In this way you get some extra security, by always being able see which visitors you have had. The outdoor unit is equipped with an extra security screw that prevents theft.

Wireless with a large rangeThe video intercom set can be used with the adapter using mains electricity but is also equipped with a rechargeable lithium battery that allows you to take the indoor unit everywhere and to use it even when a power outage occurs. If your video intercom set is almost out of battery an alarm will sound that alerts you to recharge it in time. The indoor unit has a maximum range of 120 m in open spaces, so you do not have to worry about losing contact. The use of the 2,4GHz signal prevents the video intercom set from interrupting other wireless devices and up to 100 photos can be stored. The volume of the ringtone is adjustable, so you will never have to miss the doorbell.

Open your doorIt is also possible to expand the set with the Smartwares DB5005 or DB5005L electric door opener. Using an electric door opener allows you to not only see who is in front of your door but also let them in from a distance.
